Heidelberg Materials is hiring a Ready Mixer Driver (Class 1 or
3) in Edmonton, AB. Contribute to moving essential materials safely and efficiently as part of our team.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials using a 5-axle truck or trailer. Key tasks include thorough vehicle inspections, efficient loading/unloading, and compliance with delivery requirements. Effective communication with dispatch and teammates is crucial for a seamless workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a 5-axle truck or trailer for deliveries
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Efficiently load and unload materials according to safety standards
• Follow designated routes and schedules for delivery
• Communicate effectively with plant teams and dispatch
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 License necessary
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experience with heavy trucks and related equipment
• Strong judgment and safety commitment
• Ability to adapt to various driving conditions
