Engage and safely transport children as a Bus Driver with Active Start Childcare in Edmonton. This role necessitates a valid Class 2 driver's license with an 'S' endorsement to drive kids.
Active Start Childcare seeks an experienced Bus Driver for their Harvest Hills Out of School Care program. Ideal candidates will have a clean driving record and experience driving school-aged children. Adaptability, professionalism, and excellent communication skills are vital for building relationships with children and families alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive groups of children to and from educational settings
• Supervise during student pick-ups and drop-offs
• Actively engage children during trips and at the center
• Nurture relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Adhere to Alberta childcare regulations and internal policies
Requirements:
• Class 2 driver's license with 'S' endorsement
• Clean driver's abstract with childcare experience preferred
• Level 1, 2, or 3 Child Care Certification (or willingness to pursue)
• Excellent fluency in English for communication
• Criminal record check and first aid certification
