- Inspect, maintain, and repair track components (rails, ties, switches, ballast)
- Supervise crews to ensure quality work and adherence to safety standards
- Approve completed track work for service and maintain operating restrictions
- Install and repair crossings, switches, and track structures
- Perform physical tasks including material handling, ballast distribution, and site cleanup
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operating rules
- Complete inspection, inventory, and work reports
- Previous foreperson or supervisory experience
- Experience in similar field or outdoor working conditions
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting up to 70 lbs)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (asset)
- Strong leadership and safety focus
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and adapt to shift work
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
