Class 1 Truck Driver

This truck driver position involves operating straight or articulated trucks and overseeing vehicle condition. Duties include loading, unloading, inspections, preventive maintenance, emergency roadside repairs, cargo records, and safety. The work also includes communicating with dispatch and coaching colleagues on methods or techniques.

• Operate straight or articulated trucks transporting goods and materials
• Load and unload goods while securing cargo safely
• Complete pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• Record cargo, service hours, distance, and fuel consumption
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch

• Secondary school graduation certificate
• Class 1 or A driver's licence
• Class 3 or D driver's licence
• Air Brake Z Endorsement
• Knowledge of inspection and accident reports
