Class 1 Winter Highway Operator

Use your Class 1 or 3 licence to support winter highway maintenance with Ledcor Highways Ltd. in Fox Creek, Alberta.
As a winter seasonal operator, you will operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment. The assignment runs October 1 through April 30 and includes maintaining Alberta Provincial Highways. Seasonal duties may include labourer tasks and outdoor work in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate snowplow trucks during winter maintenance operations
- Operate wheel loaders and other required heavy equipment
- Maintain provincial highways through seasonal conditions
- Perform crack sealing and pothole repair assistance
- Complete bridge, signage, and hazard remediation work
- Hold a valid Class 1 or 3 licence
- Possess an air endorsement and clear driver’s abstract
- Complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing successfully
- Perform physically demanding work, including lifting 50 pounds
- Previous snowplow or wheel loader operation is an asset
