Drive students safely for St. Francis Xavier school as a casual Bus Driver in Edmonton, using Alberta Class 2 licensing and air-brake certification.
This casual Bus Driver operates school buses for student events within Edmonton and occasional travel outside the area. The position follows Alberta Traffic Laws, Division policies, procedures, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations. Daily work includes scheduled transportation, student supervision, attendance, and vehicle checks.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate Division vehicles safely under Alberta Traffic Laws
- Pick up and drop off students according to schedules
- Take attendance and maintain order aboard the school bus
- Complete cleaning, maintenance checks, and mileage records
- Report accidents, defects, repairs, and disciplinary concerns
- High School Diploma
- Valid Alberta Class 2 licence with S-Endorsement
- Certification to operate vehicles with air brakes
- Knowledge of Edmonton roads, traffic systems, and regulations
- Availability during school hours, evenings, and overnight trips
Support safe student transportation through reliable bus operation, communication, supervision, and vehicle care across Edmonton and surrounding areas.
