The National Transportation Manager leads transportation, fleet, and compliance programs across a national network. Reporting to the Director, Health, Safety & Transportation, this leader balances strategic planning with operational execution. The work focuses on safety, performance, regulatory compliance, vendor partnerships, and asset management.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute national transportation and fleet strategy
- Oversee vehicle acquisition, maintenance, replacement, and disposal
- Ensure regulatory and commercial vehicle compliance
- Drive safety, driver performance, and risk initiatives
- Improve metrics, budgets, technology, and vendor performance
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- 10+ years transportation, fleet, or logistics experience
- 5–10 years in a leadership role
- Knowledge of regulations, compliance, safety, and fleet practices
- Experience with budgets, TMS, telematics, GPS, and analytics
