Casual School Bus Driver

Safely operate a school bus for St. Francis Xavier school while transporting students throughout Edmonton and nearby areas as needed. Casual availability is required.
As a casual Bus Driver, you will follow Alberta Traffic Laws, Division policies, procedures, protocols, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations. The position includes scheduled student transportation, event travel, attendance, passenger guidance, vehicle checks, and reporting. Additional duties may be assigned after daily routines.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Division vehicles safely under Alberta Traffic Laws
Pick up and drop off students according to schedules
Take attendance and maintain passenger order
Complete cleaning and routine vehicle maintenance checks
Report accidents, defects, tickets, and repair requirements
Requirements:
Valid Alberta Class 2 licence with S-Endorsement
Certification to operate vehicles with air brakes
High School Diploma and clean Driver’s Abstract
Knowledge of Edmonton roads and traffic systems
English fluency and strong communication skills
Support safe student transportation in Edmonton through careful driving, clear communication, vehicle checks, and dependable casual availability.
