Operate diverse heavy transport units in Nisku, Alberta, supporting metal recycling with reliable driving and careful equipment inspections. This is permanent, full-time work.
Inland Steel Products is hiring a Truck Driver for Monday-to-Friday operations, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime as required. You will transport metal materials safely while maintaining equipment performance and workplace safety. The role includes operating tractor units, lugger trucks, flat deck trucks, Super B high side trailers, roll-off units, and dump trailers.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company trucks and trailer units
Inspect equipment for roadworthiness and safety issues
Complete routine preventative maintenance to avoid breakdowns
Promote participation in the company safety program
Follow cleaning procedures for the truck cab
Requirements:
Class 1A license with at least two years' extensive experience
Experience driving vehicles with manual transmissions
Clean driver's abstract
Reliability and commitment to quality work
Availability for permanent full-time employment
Use your heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and safety skills to transport metal materials for Inland Steel Products.
