Class 1 Cement Equipment Operator

Put Class 1 driving and equipment-operation skills to work with TRICAN’s cement services in Whitecourt. Safety guides operations on roads, customer locations, and station sites.
As a Cement Bulk Driver Operator, you will safely operate equipment while traveling, at customer locations, and in station. The position includes semi tractors, trailers, inspections, equipment configuration, and rig-out activities. You will also investigate incidents, attend pre-job safety meetings, and discuss deficiencies with supervisors and crew.

Prioritize safe equipment and operations in all activities
Attend pre-job safety meetings on location
Participate in incident investigations
Consult supervisors and crews about operational deficiencies
Operate equipment safely and responsibly
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence
Safe driving skills with driver’s abstract requested
High school diploma considered an asset
Ability to perform heavy lifting
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Use Class 1 driving, safety awareness, and communication skills to operate TRICAN cement equipment responsibly in Whitecourt.
