Bulk Materials Unloader

Bulk Materials Unloader (Seasonal, Full Time) What you will do

• Unload incoming deliveries and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
• Load and stage materials for shipment or distribution, including preparing materials for pick up or delivery.
• Operate equipment used to load, unload, and move materials and products, including dollies and hand trucks, light trucks, industrial lift trucks and forklifts, and a loader, when trained and authorized.
• Transport and distribute materials and goods within the warehouse and to on-site work areas as required.
• Provide on-site customer service by assisting with locating, moving, and organizing materials for customers and crews.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safe lifting and equipment practices while handling heavy materials.

This is a fast-paced role that involves handling heavy loads and physically demanding work. Expect a large workload at peak times and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day. Attention to detail is important to ensure materials are handled and staged correctly.

• Comfortable working on-site and as part of a team in a warehouse and customer-facing environment.
• Reliable, proactive, quick to learn, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Able to work safely while performing physical tasks and moving heavy materials.
• English required.
• Education:
  
  Secondary school completion or equivalent experience.
• Experience:
  
  Will train.

• Wage: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour (to be negotiated)
