Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator
Overview
Warehouse Associate Summary/Objective:
This position provides warehouse support and customer service. Warehouse associates work as a team or independently to provide receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment services. This position will report directly to the Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Lead.
- Loads and unloads all incoming/outgoing freight from common carriers, delivery trucks, etc.
- Notates damage and piece counts
- Processes customer orders and packages for shipping
- Verifies receipts against purchase orders
- Stocks all goods in appropriate in-bin locations
- Assists in physical inventories
- Processes customer returns on a daily basis
- Ensures product is stocked and stored in correct locations
- May operate some warehouse equipment: forklift, picker, radio frequency scanner, etc.
- Keeps work area clean at all times
- All other duties as assigned

High School Diploma - Computer

Ability to talk, hear as well as use fine finger dexterity for keyboard and phone; ability to speak and understand explicit English; ability to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms; ability to repetitively lift and/or move 30-40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 70-100 pounds with or without accommodations; ability to use close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to work on an order picker platform at various heights up to 22’. - Physical Environment:
Fast-paced warehouse environment with ability to operate forklifts, hand jacks and cherry pickers
