What you will do
Unload incoming deliveries and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
Load and stage materials for shipment or distribution, including preparing materials for pick up or delivery.
Operate equipment used to load, unload, and move materials and products, including dollies and hand trucks, light trucks, industrial lift trucks and forklifts, and a loader, when trained and authorized.
Transport and distribute materials and goods within the warehouse and to on-site work areas as required.
Provide on-site customer service by assisting with locating, moving, and organizing materials for customers and crews.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safe lifting and equipment practices while handling heavy materials.
Work environment and physical requirements
This is a fast-paced role that involves handling heavy loads and physically demanding work. Expect a large workload at peak times and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day. Attention to detail is important to ensure materials are handled and staged correctly.
What we are looking for
Comfortable working on-site and as part of a team in a warehouse and customer-facing environment.
Reliable, proactive, quick to learn, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
Able to work safely while performing physical tasks and moving heavy materials.
English required.
Education:
Secondary school completion or equivalent experience.

Hours:
30 to 40 hours per week
Wage: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour (to be negotiated)
