Material Handler Forklift - Afternoon Shift

Job Summary The Material Handler II is responsible for accurately transferring product into and out of warehouse locations, loading and unloading trailers, moving product with powered industrial equipment, and performing inventory counts. This is a full‑time, permanent position with a base wage of $22.66 per hour plus a $1 hourly shift premium. Regular shifts run from 7:30am to 7:30pm on a rotating schedule (5 days on/5 days off;
4 days on/4 days off).
Responsibilities Pull orders accurately as assigned.
Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions.
Stage orders according to carrier location and verify number of pallets and stage location.
Identify and correct process errors before they affect the customer.
Identify damaged product at any point and take appropriate action.
Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation to maintain product accountability.
Adhere to location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures.
Perform housekeeping duties.
May train others in warehouse functions and safe operation of powered lift equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred.
At least one year of related warehouse experience preferred.
At least one year of powered industrial lift experience preferred.
Powered industrial truck certification.
Safe operation of safety sensitive, non‑regulated, or DOT regulated equipment.
Ability to read, understand, and respond to written and verbal instructions in English.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Proficient in data entry on computer systems.
Flexible to work overtime as needed.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
Detail oriented with good follow‑up practices.
