Responsibilities
Accurately pick, pack, and ship all orders within 24-48 hours of receipt or within established service level time frames, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
Physically fit - able to consistently lift boxes weighing 35 lbs and to stand, lift, bend, and reach, following OHS safety guidelines and procedures.
Safely operate a Reach Truck and other material handling equipment in a controlled warehouse environment, using PPE.
Ability to work independently as well as a strong team player.
Customer-service focused.
Able to problem-solve and use sound judgment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills when communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing workloads and priorities.
Strong computer skills - able to type accurately at least 35 wpm.
Accurately enter numbers into databases, recording sequence ranges.
Proficiency with data entry and ability to locate information in databases.
Maintain and update the "Shipping Manager" database and MOVES daily, accurately recording waybill numbers, number of parcels, date shipped, serialized ranges, and special instructions for each order.
Coordinate bulk distribution of orders as required.
Receive stock, verify quantities received, and provide packing slips and copies of materials to the Senior Customer Service Advisor within 24 hours of receipt of delivered product.
Inventory management and warehouse organization: regular stock replenishment and FIFO rotation of stock.
Participate in the Warehouse OHS Joint Health and Safety Committee and conduct warehouse safety inspections.
Qualifications
Physically fit and capable of lifting 35 lbs and performing required physical tasks.
Certified to operate a Reach Truck and other material handling equipment, following OHS safety guidelines and using PPE.
Strong oral and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in computer use - accurate typing (at least 35 wpm) and data entry with database navigation.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing workloads.
Experience with inventory management, including FIFO stock rotation.
Strong attention to detail in data entry and record keeping.
Valid driver's licence in good standing.
Working Hours
Standard hours: 8:15 am to 4:30 pm (including a 1 hour lunch break), Monday to Friday, excluding provincial holidays.
Background Check
Standard background check required: criminal record check Level 1 and valid driver's licence in good standing.
