Location: AchesonThe purpose of this role is to undertake a formal apprenticeship within Liebherr-Canada Ltd. Intended for current, high performing employees looking to advance or students interested in pursuing an accredited trade and future career with Liebherr. The apprenticeship position is intended to support business succession planning for niche skilled trade positions and offers potential for a long-term career within LCA.
Responsibilities
As a Parts Apprentice you will learn:Parts Sales internally and externally, via phone, email or in personCreate sales orders and quotes and process accuratelyLearn Warehouse operations including shipping & receivingInventory management, cycle counts, warehouse organizationCustomer relations, communication skillsLearn to create PO's and Factory ordersTrack part shipmentsLearn parts, core and warranty returnsLearn to read parts manualsLearn different types of equipment and their components/partsLearn to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipmentOther duties as assignedCompetencies
Grade 12 education, class 5 driver’s license,Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, intermediae Excel and Power Point Be approachable, have the willingness to learn, a passion for mechanic and heavy equipmentAble to lift and move at least 50 poundsAbility to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with changing situationsEnjoy working in a fast-paced environment.Our Offer
