Join Sysco Edmonton as a Slotting Coordinator, focusing on optimizing product placement based on analysis and data insights in a full-time capacity.
In this vital role, you'll ensure that all products are accurately slotted in the distribution center according to established guidelines including size and weight considerations. You'll work closely with Inventory Control and Warehouse Operations to minimize process gaps while actively participating in the Slotting Committee to address improvements. Your insights will be key in enhancing overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Slot products based on velocity and temperature requirements
• Collaborate with team members across various departments
• Analyze data and provide actionable feedback
• Monitor health and safety conditions in the workplace
• Engage with outbound teams for continuous improvement
Requirements:
• At least 1+ years in a warehouse or distribution role
• Preferred college diploma or equivalent experience
• Experience with warehouse management systems preferred
• Intermediate Excel skills required
• Strong understanding of food safety procedures
