Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator

Pay: $50,000 - $65,000 per year

Position Overview A strong working knowledge and experience with WMS systems such as Ship Hero, Extensiv, Helm WMS or similar software is a major asset for this role.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Warehouse / Logistics Coordinator to join our team in a hybrid role that bridges office operations and on-the-floor warehouse activity. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, accurate inventory management, and efficient coordination of logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule inbound and outbound trailers, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries
  • Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to manage daily logistics operations
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory, shipments, and order fulfillment
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, including cycle counts and reconciliation
  • Oversee cross-docking operations to optimize product flow and minimize storage time
  • Support pick and pack operations to ensure order accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in shipments, inventory, and documentation
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and company procedures
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse and logistics processes
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Warehousing & logistics
  • Strong working knowledge of WMS platforms
  • Experience with inventory control and reconciliation
  • Familiarity with cross-docking and distribution operations
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and freight documentation
  • Forklift certification (an asset)
