Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator
Pay: $50,000 - $65,000 per year
Position Overview A strong working knowledge and experience with WMS systems such as Ship Hero, Extensiv, Helm WMS or similar software is a major asset for this role.We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Warehouse / Logistics Coordinator to join our team in a hybrid role that bridges office operations and on-the-floor warehouse activity. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, accurate inventory management, and efficient coordination of logistics.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule inbound and outbound trailers, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries
- Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to manage daily logistics operations
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory, shipments, and order fulfillment
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Oversee cross-docking operations to optimize product flow and minimize storage time
- Support pick and pack operations to ensure order accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in shipments, inventory, and documentation
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse and logistics processes
- Proven experience in Warehousing & logistics
- Strong working knowledge of WMS platforms
- Experience with inventory control and reconciliation
- Familiarity with cross-docking and distribution operations
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and freight documentation
- Forklift certification (an asset)
