People Skills Customer service focused, friendly, willing to talk to all customers
Effective verbal communication skills
Maintain a professional appearance, demeanour and attitude at all times
Day to Day Operations As required, fill orders from warehouse stock
Deliver orders to stores in a timely and efficient manner
Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
Loading and off-loading trucks
Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties
Other duties as assigned
Regulatory Adherence Ensure that OHS, LP other regulatory requirements and procedures are implemented and adhered to Maintain LP and OHS Training Adheres to ALCANNA policies, with a focus on Social Responsibility Completion of Defensive Driving Awareness Course Work Experience & Education Minimum, 1-year experience in a warehouse environment (preferred, not required)
Previous experience operating a 5-ton vehicle
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid Class 5 License First-Aid Certificate is considered an asset
Physical Requirements Available to work flexible shifts (Monday – Friday), including weekends during holidays (as required)
Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds
Able to regularly make a variety of body movements including but not limited sitting, standing, walking, lifting, reaching, bending, twisting, crouching
Able to stand for an extended period
Comfortable climbing ladders
Other Skills and Capabilities Team player with the ability to multi-task in addition to operating independently
Ability to operate in a safe and efficient manner
Effective teamwork skills
Safety and guarding awareness
Ability to complete related paperwork and quality checks
Ability to operate (or learn) basic material handling equipment in a warehouse environment
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Must be able to pass a Background Check Must have access to reliable transportation
