Material Handler

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Material Handler in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, Canada. This full-time role involves operating powered warehouse equipment including forklifts and Reach Trucks to move, locate, stack, and count product. The position also includes picking and receiving, working in SAP, and verifying inbound and outbound shipments.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
Pay: $23.50 per hour

• Operate powered equipment (forklift, Reach Truck) to move, stack, and count product
• Pick and put-away product for shipment or stock, ensuring correct number and type per customer order
• Verify inbound and outbound shipments by comparing quantity, quality, labelling, and address against customer orders
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintain facility cleanliness
• Monitor and change equipment batteries or LP tanks as required
• Report discrepancies including non-available products and OS&D
• Assist with physical inventory counts
• Work within SAP for inventory management and record-keeping

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift training program required within the first 30 days of employment
• Minimum 6 months of forklift and Reach Truck operation experience (preferred)
• SAP experience is a strong asset
• Six months of warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to physically load product onto equipment, pallets, or totes for more than 20% of the shift
