Lead overnight dock operations in Edmonton with TransX Ltd., coordinating shipments, materials handling equipment, and safety procedures. Sunday through Thursday shifts run 21:00 to 05:30.
The Dock Supervisor directs all dock operations for TransX, a Canadian transportation and logistics provider operating across North America. This supervisory role coordinates inbound unloading, outbound staging, cross-shift communication, and employee compliance. The position supports accurate, damage-free shipments and safe warehouse execution.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise unloading, stacking, picking, and outbound shipment staging
- Verify inbound and outbound shipments remain accurate and damage-free
- Coordinate communication between operating shifts
- Ensure safe materials handling equipment operation
- Investigate and report safety incidents and violations promptly
- High school completion or equivalent
- Forklift, WHMIS, and TDG certifications
- Two years of dock operations experience
- Dispatch and fast-paced cross-dock experience
- Ability to lead, coach, motivate, and resolve conflicts
