Order Picker work at Best Plumbing & Lighting demands accuracy, physical stamina, and careful order processing in a warehouse environment. This position suits energetic candidates comfortable with behind-the-scenes work.
As an Order Picker, you will pull plumbing, electrical, and heating products from the yard and warehouse. The work includes prioritizing pick slips, completing paperwork, packing shipments, and processing wire cuts. You will also monitor inventory and follow company procedures closely.
Key Responsibilities:- Pull products and complete required paperwork
- Prioritize product cuts using pick slip instructions
- Pack boxes and skids for shipping
- Operate wire cutting equipment for accurate lengths
- Track inventory, lot numbers, and lengths
- Minimum two years of order picking experience
- Experience or willingness to train on order picker
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to lift 150 pounds assisted
- Reach truck forklift certification is an asset
