Start early with Purolator as a part-time AM Sorter in Edmonton, using freight handling and scanning skills before the workday begins.
This weekday position operates from 5:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Edmonton South Depot. You will sort freight by destination, weight, size, and shape. The work supports client delivery schedules through unloading, loading, scanning, and vehicle preloading.
Key Responsibilities:- Unload freight between curbside trucks and conveyors
- Load freight into trucks, trailers, and delivery vehicles
- Transfer bulk and non-conveyable items manually
- Preload mail and packages into curbside vehicles
- Scan shipments and identify improperly sorted packages
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours
- Quick learner in warehouse environments
- Technologically literate with strong communication skills
- Ability to lift or carry up to 70 pounds
- English proficiency and CSA-approved safety footwear
