JOB DESCRIPTION

Midland Transport is currently looking for a reliable and safety‑focused Class 1 P&D Tractor Driver to join our team in Edmundston, NB and support our local pick‑up and delivery operations. In this role, you will operate a tractor‑trailer to complete scheduled local routes, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate a Class 1 tractor‑trailer safely for local pick‑ups and deliveries
  • Perform daily route assignments, ensuring timely pick‑ups and deliveries
  • Complete pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections as required by law
  • Drive, operate equipment, and perform all tasks in accordance with safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 4 years of safe tractor driving experience
  • Class one (1) driver's license
  • Clean driver's abstract and criminal search
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle freight as required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing workloads
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to provide Superior Quality Services
  • Safety conscious with a strong commitment to safe driving practices and compliance
