Join Grande Yellowhead Public School Division as an Educational Assistant III - Therapy Aide, dedicated to supporting students in the Edson Zone. This full-time role focuses on implementing individualized programming for behavioral and emotional challenges in a classroom setting.

As an Educational Assistant, you will work with the Speech and Language Pathologist to deliver tailored support to students facing various developmental challenges. Your main responsibilities will include direct support and collaboration with the IEP team, using specialized techniques to bolster skill building and self-esteem among students. A commitment to student-centered learning and individualized approaches is key in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support specialized programming with direct student involvement

• Work closely with the IEP team for tailored educational assistance

• Employ positive reinforcement techniques for behavior management

• Prepare necessary resources and materials for educational support

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification

• Ongoing training or certification in relevant fields

• Class 5 Drivers license required for pupil transport

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
