Jr English and Social Studies Teacher

Position: Jr High English and Social Studies Teacher
Make a difference at Yellowhead Christian School as a Jr High Teacher for the  school year. This hybrid role incorporates both in-person and online instruction for English and Social Studies.

Yellowhead Christian School seeks a dedicated educator eager to teach and inspire students from a Christian perspective. You will be responsible for designing lessons, assessing student progress, and engaging with the broader school community. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach different courses in English and Social Studies

• Design engaging lessons using visual and interactive methods

• Assess student progress and adapt lessons as needed

• Maintain positive communication with families and colleagues

• Engage in the Christian aspects of the curriculum

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education degree

• Valid Alberta teaching certificate eligibility

• Commitment to Christian values in education

• Relevant experience in youth work or Bible education is a plus

• Must be eligible to work in Canada
