Ecole Pine Grove Middle School invites applications for a Temporary Teacher in Mathematics and Science for the  school year, role based in Edson, Alberta. Engage students through innovative teaching practices and curriculum design.

The successful candidate for this temporary position will teach Mathematics and Science to Grades 6/7 students. Responsibilities include providing quality instruction, assessing student performance, and implementing inclusive practices. Ecole Pine Grove supports teachers with professional development opportunities and values parental engagement in the educational process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons focused on student engagement

• Prepare and design instructional materials aligned with curriculum

• Facilitate evaluations and assessments of student knowledge

• Foster relationships with parents to enhance student learning

• Comply with educational standards and guidelines

Requirements:

• Must possess or be eligible for Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Familiarity with Teaching Quality Standard (TQS)

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education required

• Additional experience in Social Studies is beneficial
