Asset Management and GIS Lead

The Town of Edson is hiring an Asset Management and GIS Lead to enhance data-driven strategies for community services. Bring your expertise in GIS software and systems to support local infrastructure.

In this role, you’ll oversee the management and improvement of GIS and asset management systems. Your experience will enable you to manage spatial data and inform operational and capital decision-making. You'll be pivotal in creating actionable insights from geospatial data while training staff to improve their workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain geospatial content within ArcGIS Online

• Deploy and support Esri applications and tools

• Create operational dashboards for municipal use

• Process spatial and attribute data efficiently

• Provide custom mapping services to departments

Requirements:

• Diploma in GIS or related field

• Experienced in asset management systems

• Strong understanding of GIS principles

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work flexible hours
