Edson Alberta Maintenance Supervisor Position

West Fraser is seeking a proactive Maintenance Supervisor for our lumber mill in Edson, Alberta. This full-time role is essential for ensuring a high-functioning, safety-first maintenance operation.

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a dedicated team while maintaining an efficient workflow within the mill. Your responsibilities include planning and executing maintenance schedules, promoting a strong safety culture, and collaborating with various teams to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Strong leadership and strategic thinking will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the maintenance team through effective coaching

• Execute predictive maintenance and reliability initiatives

• Ensure all safety protocols and practices are upheld

• Manage CMMS for asset and work order efficiency

• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to achieve mill objectives

Requirements:

• Certified Millwright or equivalent with over 5 years' experience

• 2-3 years of supervisory experience in maintenance

• Depth in mechanical maintenance and reliability practices

• Demonstrated leadership and communication abilities

• Focused on continuous improvement and operational success
