Position: Healthcare Environmental Services Staff
Become a vital part of patient care with Alberta Health Services as an Environmental Services cleaner/housekeeper. This role emphasizes high-quality cleaning in clinical and public areas of healthcare facilities, with flexible shifts including days and weekends.

In this part-time position at Edson Healthcare Centre, you will clean and disinfect various areas, restock supplies, and maintain hygiene standards. Your responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, emptying hazardous waste, and providing orientation to new staff. AHS offers necessary training to ensure compliance with health standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect patient and public areas

• Operate industrial cleaning equipment safely

• Maintain supply levels in bathrooms and linen areas

• Identify and report potential hazards promptly

• Provide training to Environmental and Laundry staff

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent education

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks

• Knowledge of basic computer and smartphone operations

• Effective communication skills

• Dependable with minimal supervision required
