Position: Spare Bus Driver for School Transport
Drive with purpose as a Spare Bus Driver for Grande Yellowhead Public School Division in Edson, Alberta. Experience flexible scheduling, family-friendly policies, and comprehensive training opportunities.

This position involves covering routes in and around Lobstick and Hinton, ensuring safe transport for over 2,200 students. Successful candidates can start immediately and enjoy time off during weekends and holidays while being able to take preschool children along to work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive students to school and other activities

• Follow designed routes and schedules effectively

• Maintain bus cleanliness and operational readiness

• Engage with students for a safe and welcoming environment

• Communicate needs and concerns to the transportation department

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s license

• Ability to perform physical tasks and pass assessments

• Current RCMP Record Check with Vulnerable Sector

• Current Alberta Child Intervention Record Check

• Training provided for those without prior experience
