Description
Position SummaryUnder the summer camp director's direct supervision, the summer camp counselor supervises children enrolled in the YMCA's Summer Camp Program and will guide daily camper activities while enforcing camp rules and policies. Expected Camp dates are late May until mid‑August and is a seasonal position where the employee will voluntarily separate at the conclusion of the season.

- Work will be performed indoors and outdoors and may require occasional travel.
- Must have visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to respond swiftly in an emergency situation.

- Must be able to coordinate a variety of large and small tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to handle stress and tension in a positive manner.
