Description
Periodically, the College of Arts and Sciences may have various openings throughout the year (Spring 2026, AY and Summer 2026) for various full time, non-tenure, academic year term lecturers appointments and part-time, non-tenure, semester term lecturer appointments. These openings may occur in any of the following College of Arts and Sciences departments:
Anthropology, Applied Communication Studies, Art and Design, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, English Language and Literature, Environmental Sciences, Foreign Languages and Literature, Geography, History, Mass Communications, Mathematics and Statistics, Music, Philosophy, Political Science, Public Administration and Policy Analysis, Sociology, Criminal Justice Studies, Social Work, and Theater and Dance.

Salary information is as follows:
- Anthropology: $2,000.00 per class, $3,600.00 per semester
- Applied Communications: $2,000.00 per class, $3,600.00 per semester
- Art & Design: $2,000.00 per class, $3,600.00 per semester
- Art Therapy: $2,777.78 per class, $5,000.00 per semester
- Biological Sciences: $2,560.34 per class, $4,608.62 per semester
- Chemistry: $2,120.58 per class, $3,817.04 per semester
- Criminal Justice: $2,000.00 per class, $3,600.00 per semester
- English Language & Literature: $2,000.00 per class, $3,600.00 per semester
- Environmental Sciences: $2,508.61 per class, $4,515.49 per semester
- Foreign Languages & Literature: $2,300.00 per class, $4,140.00 per semester

Note:
All salaries are based on 3 credit hour courses or 20% except Foreign Languages & Literature which is based on 23% because of built-in labs.
Qualifications
An advanced degree in discipline of instruction (or equivalent professional experience in Fine Arts) is required.
