We are looking for a compassionate Caregiver to be a part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Light cooking and cleaning
• Assistance with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
• Assistance with mobility, transfers and medication reminders
• Transportation for appointments and assistance with errands
• Perform all job duties with dignity, compassion, care and empathy

Qualifications and Skills:

• Be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma
• Verify legal eligibility to work in the United States
• Proof of current TB testing and Health Physical
• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check according to IL State Requirements
• Must be able to pass a Drug Test
• Must have personal reliable vehicle and proof of a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Caregivers must be mature, caring, punctual and reliable
• Must have basic knowledge of technology to use our cell phone app for clocking in/out, documenting completion of tasks and reporting changes in client’s condition
• Previous experience working as a caregiver or experience caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons is required

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
