Litigation Attorney

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 1‑5 years of experience. The role will be based in Madison County, IL and involves litigating in product liability, toxic tort, class‑action and mass‑tort, and medical malpractice cases.

• Overall case management, including drafting critical motions, developing written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and participating in court proceedings.
• Trial and appellate experience are also valued.
• Possessing excellent academic credentials and immaculate presentation skills.
• Maintain strong relationships with the firm’s existing client base and an entrepreneurial spirit to pursue new opportunities in expanding practice areas.

The anticipated salary will range between $110,000 and $160,000, commensurate with the candidate’s background and years of experience. Other income opportunities include discretionary profit‑sharing contributions, typically made on an annual basis, and a merit‑based discretionary bonus.
