What You Will Do
- The Ethanol Plant Scientific Analyst provides advanced scientific, analytical, and technical expertise in support of NCERC's research, pilot plant operations, and commercial analytical services programs.
- The position is responsible for conducting complex laboratory analyses, ensuring data quality and integrity, interpreting experimental results, developing and validating analytical methods, troubleshooting sophisticated scientific instrumentation, and supporting client-sponsored research initiatives.
- The position serves as a technical resource to researchers, engineers, clients, and laboratory personnel by providing scientific leadership, maintaining compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards, and supporting the successful execution of research and commercial projects.
- Through accurate data generation, method development, and operational oversight, this position contributes directly to NCERC's reputation as a leading biofuels research and commercialization center.

Minimum Acceptable
Qualifications:
1.
A. Bachelor's degree in life science or closely related field AND two (2) years industrial and/or commercial lab experience.
OR
B. Associates in Applied Science (AAS) AND four (4) years of industrial and/or commercial lab experience.
OR
C. Masters degree in life science or closely related field
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in a related scientific discipline and experience supporting commercial, pilot-scale, or research laboratory operations.
