Overview

Job Summary:

Warehouse Associates are responsible for receiving, moving, picking and shipping product throughout our warehouse and integration operations. Responsibilities include applying and scanning labels to ensure product is properly tracked, ensuring all product is safely and securely loaded or stored. The position reports to a Warehouse Supervisor. This position works in a fast-paced environment, operates handheld scanning equipment, follows processes and is a team player.

Shifts
  • 1st Shift - starts between 5a-7a until 1:30p-3:30p
  • 2nd Shift - starts between 1p-2p until 9:30p-10:30p
  • 3rd Shift - starts between 3p-6p until 1:30a-4:30a
  • AWS Shift - Sat, Sun, Mon - 6a-6:45p
Job Responsibilities
  • Learns and supports the processes of receiving, shipping, and warehousing materials.
  • Collects information to understand problems and identify their origin.
  • Researches events and known solutions for basic or routine problems.
  • Implements prescribed steps and ensures effective resolution, escalating troubleshooting if needed.
  • Demonstrates attention during discussions by taking notes and asking clarifying questions.
  • Demonstrates awareness of non-verbal behavior/cues when listening and communicating.
  • Restates and reflects back information to check for understanding.
  • Works with supervisors to set goals and priorities for individual work and manages time efficiently to accomplish goals.
  • Remains focused without becoming sidetracked by non-urgent or less important tasks or interruptions.
  • Demonstrates punctuality and reliability in meeting individual deadlines, completes tasks in a timely manner.
  • Complies with and promotes safety guidelines.
  • Promotes a clean and organized (5S) warehouse operation.
Job Qualifications
  • High school/GED required.
  • Some warehousing experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering customer delight.
  • Ability to deliver high quality, thorough and accurate work on deadlines.
  • Standard shift hours are generally observed; may include voluntary or mandatory overtime.
  • Role may require working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Role may include assignment of work for specific WWT customers with possible background check and drug testing requirements.

Compensation/ Benefits

The well-being of WWT employees is essential. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $16.00 to $18.00 an hour. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
