Senior Project Engineer – Transportation Project Manager – Effingham, IL. This role leads multiple transportation projects, manages client relationships, and drives design and construction delivery.

• Serve as project manager with autonomy on multiple projects and designated client contact.
• Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate estimating, scoping, and marketing strategies for proposed projects.
• Prepare engineering agreements and design documents for various projects.
• Provide street and highway design engineering analysis; engineer of record on some projects.
• Prepare or modify reports, specifications, plans, studies, permits, and designs.
• Delegate and supervise the work of other engineers.
• Support business development, attend client meetings, and present project status.
• Visit construction sites to monitor progress per contract documents.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Transportation, or Traffic Engineering.
• 8–20 years of transportation or traffic engineering experience.
• Experience on IDOT or local IL projects required.
• Licensed IL Professional Engineer, PE.
• Ability to manage and collaborate with engineers, technicians, clients, and administrators.
• Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Micro Station, and ORD preferred.

Salary range: $105,000 – $125,000, subject to education, experience, and internal equity.
