Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineer in Champaign or Effingham, IL. In this role, you will work on a wide variety of municipal and private client projects, including site design, sanitary/storm improvements, sidewalk and roadway grading, and water main design. Posting Location(s):
Champaign or Effingham, IL

• Plan, design, complete and manage a variety of municipal and some private owner civil engineering projects from inception to completion, with oversight from senior engineers
• Prepare and develop construction plans and documents
• Collaborate with Farnsworth Group disciplines and subconsultants
• Occasionally attend project, city staff, and board meetings
• Prepare project proposals
• Assist with business development efforts and developments of projects
• Manage, support, and build relationships with clients and agencies
• Conduct project field observations and assessments

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• 8 - 15 years experience in the civil engineering field
• Professional Engineering License (PE)

Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000 (salary determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and equity considerations)
