, is seeking a full‑time Triage Nurse (RN or LPN) to join their growing team.

Applicants with Athena EMR experience will be given priority.

• Perform telephone triage, patient education, handling of physician phone calls, pharmacy calls; assist by calling to set up appointments or arrange hospital tests or admissions.
• Complete paperwork such as refilling medication, ordering lab tests, x‑rays, etc.
• Assess patients and determine priority and refer for emergency care.
• Console patients concerning lifestyle modifications, medication regimens, side effects, and interactions using an appropriate psychosocial communication level.
• Communicate to patients and office coordinators follow‑up appointments, ancillary or pre‑operative testing and scheduling needed for patient.
• Coordinate ordering of tests/procedures with other clinical staff.
• Respond to patient questions and concerns as liaison between physician and patient.
• Develop office protocols and training documents.
• Report all test results to the patient as directed by the physician.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
• State of Illinois Nursing License required.
• BLS certification required.
• At least one year of working experience as an RN or LPN.
• Athena EMR experience highly preferred.
• OB/GYN experience preferred, but not required.
