JobPurpose
As a Service Technician, you will embody our company's values by performing routine maintenance, assisting in vehicle repairs, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will contribute to our mission of providing top‑notch service to our customers.
Pay$22.00–$30.00 per hour (based on education, experience, OEM certifications, skill set, etc.) + Service Technician Incentive Program
ShiftMonday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Shift PremiumHours worked Monday–Friday 5:00 p.m.–5:59 a.m. and/or any hours worked on weekends are paid a shift differential of 15% of your base wage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests to ensure accurate assessments of maintenance needs.
- Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards and adhering to regulatory obligations.
- Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub‑assemblies, components, or parts.
- Evaluate service and parts options to contain costs, demonstrating adaptability and resourcefulness in finding effective solutions.
- Control corrosion and complete winterization procedures to prolong the lifespan of vehicles and ensure responsible use of resources.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining a diplomatic and courteous manner in all dealings with customers and fellow employees.
- Assist in the repair of customer vehicles, lease units, and company inventory.
- Maintain vehicle records by annotating services and repairs, facilitating transparency and accountability.
- Stay updated on regulations and standards through ongoing education and training.
- Expand technical abilities through active participation in training and development opportunities.
- Embrace challenges with enthusiasm and creativity, seeking innovative solutions to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, demonstrating stewardship of resources and environmental responsibility.
- Keep shop equipment operating efficiently, troubleshooting breakdowns, and maintaining supplies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

- Previous experience in automotive repair or heavy‑duty truck maintenance preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred, or ability to obtain.
