Hands-on field role supporting underground fiber and cable installation projects in Nebraska. The position assists crews with telecom and utility work, including directional boring support and other construction equipment as needed.
Key Duties- Perform trenching, back filling, and hand digging
- Place cable and conduit for underground telecom installations
- Support site preparation and maintain clean job sites
- Assist with traffic control and jobsite safety measures
- Follow strict safety procedures throughout all tasks
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor field conditions
- Willingness to work on construction crews and follow safety requirements
- Basic knowledge of underground utility/conduit installation preferred
- Dependable team player attitude with a strong work ethic
