Role

Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lower Bank, NJ on the Mullica River for a Marine Service Manager Mechanical Coordinator. The individual will oversee and coordinate diesel mechanical services, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities include managing service schedules, supervising mechanical teams, communicating with clients, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to maintain optimal service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in diesel mechanical systems and troubleshooting, with expertise in marine engines and generators.
  • Dealer for: CAT, Cummins, Yanmar, Onan, Kohler, Mercury, stabilization:
    Ability to locate and coordinate part and engine sales.
  • Proficiency in team leadership, scheduling, and project management.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, ensuring efficient coordination with clients, team members, and vendors.
  • Knowledge of standards and regulations for marine service operations.
  • Problem‑solving skills and the ability to swiftly address mechanical and operational challenges.
  • A background in the marine industry and familiarity with sportfishing vessels is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency with tools and equipment related to marine mechanics and maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certification or vocational training in marine mechanics or related fields is preferred.
