Responsibilities:

• Oversee invoicing activities for a group of ongoing projects, ensuring charges are prepared and issued in a timely manner.
• Create and send customer invoices with a high degree of accuracy while meeting established billing schedules.
• Examine contracts, backup materials, and project documentation to confirm billing details before invoices are released.
• Handle a range of project billing methods, including time-based, fixed-price, lump-sum, and milestone-driven invoicing arrangements.
• Partner with project accounting staff to align billed amounts with project financial data and contract terms.
• Investigate invoice issues, respond to customer billing questions, and work toward prompt resolution of discrepancies.
• Monitor unbilled balances and take action to keep invoicing current across active assignments.
• Support monthly close activities by preparing billing-related reports and maintaining organized financial records.
• Preserve complete and accurate documentation for invoicing transactions, account activity, and supporting files.
