Design Consultant

Designer – South Jersey Blinds and Beyond (Egg Harbor, NJ)

Full‑time, on‑site role located in Egg Harbor, New Jersey.

• Create, customize, and implement design solutions for window treatments and related projects.
• Meet with clients to understand their design needs, prepare detailed layouts and mockups, and select appropriate materials and styles.
• Ensure final products meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with sales and installation teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Strong design skills, including proficiency in space planning, layout design, and visual presentation.
• Experience in customer interaction, active listening, and the ability to understand client preferences.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and artistic sensibility.
• Knowledge of interior design principles, fabrics, colors, and window treatment materials.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or similar programs is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work on‑site and collaborate with team members across departments.
• Prior experience in design, interior decorating, or related fields is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Design, Interior Design, or a related field is a plus.
