Join JMA Solutions in supporting the FAA’s Aeronautical Information Management Modernization (AIMM) Program, a critical initiative shaping the future of aeronautical information systems. As a Senior Engineer, you’ll work on advanced communication technologies, system analysis, and modernization efforts that impact national airspace safety.

• Analyze FAA systems and processes to improve aeronautical data management.
• Support AIMM development, including system testing, security, and configuration management.
• Assist in planning, design, and evaluation of communication systems (RF and IP).
• Participate in technical reviews and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Provide engineering support for test labs and infrastructure.

• Familiarity with aeronautical data systems.
• Python programming and Linux basics.
• Experience with FAA Flight Service or Weather Programs.
• Knowledge of environmental and power test standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, or related field.
• 20+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong RF communications background.
• Knowledge of FAA AMS lifecycle, NAS architecture, and SWIM.
• Experience with communication protocols (TCP/IP, VoIP) and networking principles.
• Ability to climb towers (up to 300 ft) and lift up to 50 lbs.
