The Client Services Representative provides office support at the front desk within the Hospital, Ambulatory, or Surgery Center setting. The Representative ensures the timely and organized scheduling of patient appointments, manages patient insurance information, enters client data into the computer system, and provides accurate financial information to clients. This position supports organizational goals by delivering quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts, and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of office experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Minimum 1 year of insurance, CPT4, and ICD-10 coding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Proficiency in clinical applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents will receive training within 30–60 days.
• Commitment to teamwork, clear communication, and efficient clinic operations.

Demonstrates the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position.

Potential exposure to hazards of the hospital environment, including infectious diseases, hazardous substances, and the risk of injury.

This position reports to the Department Director, Manager, or Nursing Leadership in other departments within the organization.
