Gold Medal Environmental is a leading provider of waste and recycling services, committed to sustainability, safety, and operational excellence. We are currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our team and assist with the repair and maintenance of waste containers and equipment.

We are looking for a dependable and experienced Welder to perform maintenance and repair work on metal waste containers (“cans”). The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, fixing structural issues, and painting containers to ensure they are safe and operational.

• Perform welding tasks to repair and restore metal waste containers.
• Inspect containers for damage or wear and perform necessary repairs.
• Fabricate and modify metal parts as needed using welding equipment and tools.
• Prepare surfaces and apply industrial-grade paint to containers for durability and appearance.
• Ensure all welding and fabrication work meets company quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate tools and equipment in accordance with all safety protocols.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Prior welding experience required (MIG, Stick or equivalent).
• Experience with fabrication work including cutting, grinding, and fitting metal parts.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and welding machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stand, and work outdoors as needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Welding certification (not required but a plus).
• Experience working with waste containers, dumpsters, or similar metal structures.
• Basic knowledge of painting techniques for metal surfaces.
