For 25 years, Spectrum Software Technology (SST) has helped our federal customers imagine, create, and implement innovative solutions across Aerospace, Defense, and Civil agencies. We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy recent graduate to join our growing team in Egg Harbor Township as a Federal Market & Business Development Analyst. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional business marketing and specialized federal market intelligence.

You will receive hands-on training to navigate the federal procurement ecosystem, utilizing cutting-edge AI tools (like Google AI) and market intelligence platforms to scout, track, and research new government contract opportunities. Working in lockstep with our Business Development (BD) and Proposal teams, you will also support our general corporate marketing initiatives, brand awareness, and competitive research.

Federal Market Intelligence & Opportunity Tracking (We Will Train You)

• Monitor Procurement Portals:
  Conduct daily monitoring of federal procurement platforms including Gov Tribe, OASIS+, GSA MAS (Multiple Award Schedule), and SAM.gov to identify active, upcoming, and forecast contract opportunities.
• Filter & Match Requirements:
  Analyze federal solicitations, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Requests for Information (RFIs) to map them against SST’s capabilities and specific NAICS codes.
• Agency Research:
  Research target federal agencies (such as the FAA and NASA), procurement histories, spending trends, and upcoming buying cycles to identify high-probability growth targets.
• Pipeline Management:
  Maintain and update the company’s BD pipeline CRM, ensuring all opportunity deadlines, data points, and tracking metrics are accurate.

Proposal & Business Development Support

• Collaborate with Proposal Teams:
  Assist the proposal managers by gathering background research on target opportunities, drafting compliance matrices, and tracking down historical contract data.
• Competitive Analysis:
  Research incumbent contractors and potential teammates or competitors to provide “Black Hat” intelligence for the BD team.
• AI Integration:
  Leverage Google AI and LLM tools to streamline document summaries, accelerate background research, and identify key operational requirements in massive government solicitations.

Brand, Marketing & Outreach

• Content & Communications:
  Write, proofread, and edit high-quality business content, including marketing slick sheets, capability narratives, website copy, and newsletter updates.
• Brand & Digital Marketing:
  Assist with managing company social media profiles and keeping track of corporate brand consistency across

  Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the brand, network with partners, and gather market insights.
