ResponsibilitiesThe Hospice LPN will supplement the nursing care needs mon assigned group of patients/families, under the direction of a RN, as provided by the RN in the plan of care. Skilled nursing services will be given in accordance with physician’s orders and are established by the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) under the direction of a registered nurse in accordance with the NJ Nurse Practice Act.
BasicQualifications
- Education / Training / Certifications
:
Graduate of an accredited LPN Program. Valid NJ LPN Licensure required. Valid NJ Driver’s License with proof of insurance. - Skills
:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or employees related to Hospice philosophy. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. - Experience
:
Minimum্ত one year experience in oncology and/or hospice training program.

The salary range for LPN is $29-$33/hour based upon experience.
